Dusty (pink collar) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
DUSTY (PINK COLLAR)
Domestic Short Hair
🇺🇸
Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
August 26th
female, small, baby
DESCRIPTION
Spirited, social, and seriously cuddly, Dusty is a confident little girl who keeps up with her brothers and loves being close to her people. Dusty is the only girl in a litter with two brothers, and she has absolutely no intention of being treated like the little sister.
She holds her own in every wrestling match, jumps straight into their games and has a wonderfully spirited, determined personality. Of the three, Dusty is also the one most likely to make her opinion known when it's time to go into the travel crate.
Dusty is also a total people cat. She is very social, affectionate and loves to cuddle. She wants to be where everyone else is, whether that means playing with her brothers, hanging out with us, or joining the giant kitten pile on my lap. She has plenty of personality, but she is never aloof.
She started life looking almost entirely black, but lately some funky gray hairs have been appearing in her coat, which is how she earned the name Dusty. We are still curious to see what her final coloring will look like as she grows.
She has grown up around my 14-year-old dog and is completely comfortable with her. They give each other space, hang out peacefully and even share food. Dusty also loves my 7-year-old daughter and has been very comfortable with children and normal family activity.
She isn't particularly chatty, but she is very bonded to her little group. If Dusty accidentally ends up on the wrong side of a door or otherwise separated from everyone, she will call out until the situation has been corrected.
At night, Dusty and her brothers have important kitten business to attend to, mostly involving running around like maniacs. By morning, though, all three are usually gathered outside our bedroom door waiting for us to wake up.
Dusty is about 3 months old, healthy, spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. She can be adopted separately from her brothers, but she should have another friendly cat or kitten in her new home.
She is confident, cuddly, social and full of personality. She can keep up with two brothers and still be the first one ready for affection.
