Curious and cuddly Orzo is ready to weasel his way into your heart, and also maybe your refrigerator.

Orzo made it clear from the moment his foster family picked him up from PAWS that he is completely at ease with people and doesn't even want the door of a carrier to separate him from the chance for attention and affection. No one is a stranger, and he will climb right onto your lap to let you know he would like some rubs, and reward you with purrs that you can hear from across the room. He if full of expression, from lodging tiny protesting kitten cries when he has to ride in a carrier to a low grumble when he has found a toy he has laid claim to, to elated jumps when his food arrives.

Orzo's energetic play time will have him racing up and down the stairs, and sometimes tumbling down a few stairs in a ball of fur with his favorite playmate, his sister Tahini. Orzo is particularly fascinated with the dishwasher, and is always willing to supervise to make sure you are loading it correctly. Because he's got such great vertical skills, he has been known to get a close up look at what's in the refrigerator if his human caregivers leave it open for too long. Despite all of this curious energy, Orzo is far more sweetness and affection than he is trouble. He will need another energetic cat or kitten friend* to help spend his energy and maintain his sweetness, but he also needs lots of human love in his life and is ready to return all the attention you are willing to give him. Orzo will be available for adoption at Petsmart at Broad & Washington on Saturday 8/8.
