I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.
A volunteer writes: Ilya Rozanov was abandoned in a crate. The door was left open to the park he was in but he didn't want to leave. The world can feel so big, and bigger still when the ground beneath you is unsteady. Ilya Rozanov has an optimistic heart, however, and he's been very sweetly determined to turn around whatever he can. He was stretched out on his little bed and reached his paws out wide to greet and snuggle with me, but what Ilya Rozanov really loves to do is play. I offered Ilya Rozanov a toy rope and he was so excited that my heart just about melted watching him bring out all the fun party moves he's been keeping up his little kitty sleeve. Tossing and turning as he held it above his head, he played to his heart's content and leaned back into my hand for breaks. Though it might look like Ilya Rozanov's days of just waiting for something to happen are long behind him, he's still waiting.
