Meet Milo - a very special 12-year-old Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix who has already been someone's whole world.

Milo came to us with his beloved owner, a Korean War veteran who had reached a point in his life where he needed to enter hospice care. But before he could do that, there was one thing he needed to know:

Milo would be safe.

His owner personally brought him to us because he refused to leave this world without knowing that the little dog he loved so dearly would have someone looking out for him.

That someone is us.

And now, we are hoping to find the person who will make the rest of Milo's life just as safe, warm and loved as the first twelve years were.

Milo is a 12-year-old neutered male Yorkie/Shih Tzu mix, and he is completely ready for his next chapter:

Milo isn't looking for a marathon runner. He isn't looking for a packed social calendar or a house full of chaos.

He's looking for a person.
