DESCRIPTION

Humboldt and Amoc are a sweet 3-month-old kitten duo looking for their forever home together!

Humboldt (solid gray brother) and Amoc (tabby gray sister) are best described with two words: sweet and serious. Amoc, with her melancholy face and cautious demeanor, is sweetly serious. Humbolt, with his boneless sleep habits and happy-go-lucky nature, is seriously sweet! Combined, they are a perfect pair.

Amoc likes to take it all in first before committing to anything - she is watchful and considers her next move thoroughly before jumping in. Once she's sure of things, her favorite activities are wrestling with her brother, purring up a storm on her peoples' laps, following adult cats around, and attacking soft toys.

Humboldt is a great balance to Amoc's more reserved nature. He is social, friendly, and has no cares in the world (except being the first to the breakfast dish). He will play with anyone and anything and pretty much any time! When he's ready for a nap, he is out like a light and limp as a noodle - but if he hears the jingle of a toy, he'll bound right on over. This brother-sister pair cycles between naps, zoomies, and food and thoroughly enjoys all of the above. Both will purr if you so much as look at them.

Amoc and Humboldt are medium-energy kittens. They do get the zoomies, love wrestling, and benefit from social interactions with people (and other cats if you have them). However, they also spend a lot of time sleeping or just resting. Neither of them is intensely curious - they are very content with the lives they lead really only show an interest in new things or places when explicitly introduced to them. So far, they don't seem like the kind of cats where you'll need to worry about escapes or interest in off-limits locations or items - so long as they've got playtime and laps to snooze on, they are happy campers!

They currently in in a single-family home with some of their other biological siblings, an unrelated adult male cat (who they have an unrequited love for), and two adult humans.

Amoc and Humboldt would love a home where they can settle in and grow up as loved members of a family. They'd love windows to bird watch from, a cat tree to climb and nap in, and human friends who want to snuggle and play in the evening (or who work from home and want an assistant to keep their lap warm!). Amoc would appreciate a person or people who understand that she might take some time to warm up and will put in the effort to help her feel safe from grabbing hands and unexpected big movements. If you already have a cat who likes cats, these two will be thrilled to join a posse, but also very happy to just have each other and you!

These cuties have been in foster care since before their eyes were open, and are well-socialized, sweet kitties. Whoever adopts them will be rewarded with the best purrs and antics from an amazing pair of cats!

Amoc and Humboldt are scheduled to be spayed/neutered on May 23rd and will be ready to join their furever family after.
