Meet Our Sweet Tortie Girl Maple

This beautiful 9-month-old Tortie is still waiting to discover just how wonderful life with people can be.

She came to us as part of a trapping project involving several cats who were displaced after their owner put their home up for sale and abandoned most of the cats outside. She was trapped alongside three other cats who appear to be around the same age, so it's possible they may be littermates.

She's still a little wary of people and may need some time to feel comfortable, but she has never shown an ounce of aggression. She's simply a girl who needs patience, consistency, and someone willing to let her build trust at her own pace.

She seems particularly close with one of the other cats from the group, a sweet orange-and-white girl. Marigold. While we won't require them to be adopted together, seeing these two girls find a home together would certainly be a wonderful ending to their story.

With time, patience, and love, we know Maple has so much potential to blossom.

Maple is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, FeLV/FIV negative, dewormed, and current on flea prevention.

She is currently waiting for her forever home at our adoption center inside PetSmart in Northeast Philadelphia at 7422 Bustleton Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19152.
