Mela is a lovely seal point with a creamy fawn body, a deep chocolate-brown face, ears, and tail, and pale, soft eyes that look at you with quiet depth. Her coloring is striking, and she is every bit as elegant in person as she is in her photo.

Mela arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 21, 2026. At approximately 7 years old and 8.125 pounds, she is a petite, grown-up girl with years of companionship still ahead of her. She has spent most of a decade learning what a home feels like, and she deserves to find one again.

It isn’t fair for a cat like Mela to spend her days in a kennel. She deserves a soft blanket in a warm spot, a window to watch the world from, and someone who notices how beautiful she is. Adopting an adult cat means getting to know her as she already is, and Mela is ready to be known.

Mela is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and FIV and FeLV negative. She shares kennel 633 with Hunter, and the two of them would make a wonderful pair to welcome home together. Mela is also welcome in a loving home of her own. Come meet Mela in kennel 633.
