HUNTER (see also MELA) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Georgia

Hunter - 23556 - Kennel 633 - Arrived October 21, 2026 - Domestic Short Hair mix - black and white - male - Approximately 7 years old - 17 lbs - Neutered - Up to date on vaccines - FIV/FeLV negative

Hunter is a big, handsome tuxedo with a glossy black coat, a white blaze down his nose, a crisp white chest, and white paws. His golden eyes look right at you, and his pink nose is the finishing touch on a face you won’t forget.

Hunter arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 21, 2026. At approximately 7 years old and 17 pounds, he is a solid, full-grown guy with plenty of good years ahead of him. There are no guessing games about who he’ll become, and the person who adopts him can start building a life together right away.

A cat of Hunter’s size and presence deserves more than a steel kennel and a folded towel. He deserves a wide spot on the couch, a sunny window, and a person who is glad to see him walk into the room. Adult cats are so often overlooked in a shelter, and the ones who wait the longest often have the most love to give.

Hunter is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, so he is ready to go home. He shares kennel 633 with Mela, and we would love to see the two of them go home together, though he is welcome in a loving home of his own. Come meet Hunter in kennel 633.
