AURORA (see also COMET) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Georgia

Aurora - 23326 - Kennel 615 - Arrived October 11, 2026 - Domestic Short Hair mix - black - female - 12 weeks old - 2.875 lbs (estimated adult weight 6-8 lbs) - Spayed - Up to date on vaccines - FIV/FeLV negative

Aurora is a little black kitten with a coat as dark and glossy as a night sky, and amber-gold eyes that glow like the first lights of dawn. Her name suits her, because she lights up whatever space she’s in.

She arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 11, 2026. At 12 weeks old and 2.875 pounds, Aurora is just starting to grow into herself. Based on her size and build, we estimate she’ll reach around 6 to 8 pounds, and whoever brings her home will get to watch every bit of it.

Aurora shares kennel 615 with Comet, and the two of them make a pair as striking as their names. Kittens who grow up side by side often find their lives a little warmer for it, so if you have room for two, we would love for you to meet them together. Aurora is also welcome in a loving home of her own.

Aurora is spayed, up to date on vaccines, and FIV and FeLV negative, so she is ready to go home right away. A kennel is only where her story begins. Come meet Aurora in kennel 615.
