Comet is a sleek black kitten with a velvety coat and bright green eyes, and when he looks at you, it feels like the whole world has gone quiet. Some creatures just have a way of stopping you in your tracks, and Comet is one of them.

He weighs 3.125 pounds at 12 weeks old, and judging by his size and build, we estimate he’ll grow to about 8 to 10 pounds. Comet arrived at Cobb Animal Services on October 11, 2026, and he is only at the beginning. His first real home, his first favorite spot on the couch, and the first time he falls asleep knowing he’s safe are all still ahead of him.

He is in kennel 615 alongside Aurora. Adopting the two of them together would be a wonderful gift to them both, and a joy for the household that welcomes them. Comet is welcome in a home of his own, too.

Comet is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and has tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He is ready to streak into your life and stay for good. Come meet Comet in kennel 615.
