MAGPIE - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Marietta, Georgia

Magpie - 22924 - Kennel 630 - Arrived September 26, 2026 - Domestic Short Hair mix - black and white - female - 8 weeks old - 2.25 lbs (estimated adult weight 6-8 lbs) - Will be spayed prior to adoption - Up to date on vaccines - FIV/FeLV negative

Magpie is a tiny black and white kitten with a snowy white face, a black cap over her head and ears, and a pink nose with a little dark dot on her chin. White paws and a white chest complete the look, and her hazel-gold eyes seem to hold a whole world of wonder.

Magpie arrived at Cobb Animal Services on September 26, 2026. At 8 weeks old and 2.25 pounds, she is still so small. Based on her size and build, we estimate she’ll grow to around 6 to 8 pounds, and the person who brings her home will be there for every bit of it.

At this age, everything is new. Her first real home, her first sunny windowsill, and her first sleepy nap on a lap that belongs to her are all still waiting. She has barely begun, and she deserves a soft place to land while she grows into the cat she’ll become.

Magpie is up to date on vaccines, has tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and will be spayed before she goes home. A kennel is only where her story starts. Come meet Magpie in kennel 630, and let her show you where it goes next.
