Apricot – ID #18109 – Kennel #629
Arrived April 9th as a stray – Domestic Short Hair Mix – Orange Tabby & White – Female – 9 years old – 6.6 lbs – Up to date on vaccines – FIV/FeLV negative
Meet Apricot — a beautiful and elegant orange tabby and white Domestic Short Hair mix with a warm, glowing coat and the most gentle, soulful eyes. This precious 9-year-old girl was found as a stray with no one to come forward for her, and she now waits in Kennel #629 hoping that someone will see her for the absolute treasure she truly is.
Apricot is a petite and delicate girl at just 6.6 pounds, the kind of cat who was made to be scooped up and held close and loved with everything you have. She is FIV/FeLV negative and up to date on all of her vaccines — a healthy, beautiful senior girl who deserves nothing less than the warmest, most loving home imaginable for every remaining day of her golden years.
Senior cats like Apricot are among the most overlooked in shelters, and it is one of the deepest injustices of rescue life. She has lived a whole lifetime already — nine years of love and experience and quiet devotion — and the thought of her spending even one unnecessary day in a shelter kennel is simply heartbreaking. She deserves a soft bed, a sunny windowsill, and a person who will cherish every single moment with her.
If you have room in your heart and your home for a gentle, beautiful, and deeply deserving senior girl, please come meet Apricot in Kennel #629. She has so much love left to give, and all she is asking for is someone to give her the chance to give it.
