Slim Shady - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Lutz, Florida

At almost 3 months old, Slim Shady has already beaten the odds. He was found as a tiny kitten crying in the pouring rain at a work site. Thankfully, someone heard his cries and brought him to a local animal hospital, where one of the staff members stepped up to foster this little puffball.
Slim Shady is everything you could want in a kitten-sweet, affectionate, and gentle. He loves everyone he meets, including kids, cats, and dogs, and his favorite activities are grooming his friends and snuggling up for naps.
When he was 8 weeks old, Slim Shady tested positive for FIV. Because he was so young, this could simply be from maternal antibodies, and he'll be retested at 6 months of age to know for sure. Even if he is truly FIV positive, cats with FIV can live long, happy, healthy lives and can safely live with other friendly cats.

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
