Six weeks ago, Joey came to us as a fragile little 3-week-old stray after the amazing team at Pasco County Animal Services put out an urgent plea for help. He was covered in fleas, far too young to be on his own, and needed around-the-clock care to have a chance.

Our amazing foster stepped in immediately, providing frequent syringe feedings, endless love, and everything this little guy needed to grow strong. And wow... what a transformation.

Today, Joey is a healthy, happy, confident kitten with a big personality. He loves to play, explore, chase toys, wrestle with other kittens, and then curl up for a well-earned nap. He's curious about everything and has the sweetest, most affectionate side once playtime is over. Joey's journey is a perfect reminder of why foster homes save lives. The tiny kitten who once needed help just to survive is now ready to find the family he's been waiting for.

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
