Poppy - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Lutz, Florida

Poppy and Poe came to us at only 3 weeks old from different backgrounds but ended up at the county shelter at the same time. Both were critically ill, emaciated, fighting a severe kitty cold and barely holding on. With lots of vet visits, meds, care, love and persistence they both made it and are now happy, healthy and looking for a home together!

Poppy is the sweetest little kitten! Gentle, always purring, and happiest curled up beside her person for cuddles. Sadly, despite our best efforts she lost one eye due to a severe infection, but it doesn't slow her down one bit.

Poe is loving, curious, and a bit mischievous. He loves to explore, check out the highest part of the cat tree, loves everyone he meets and is very playful. He also has an incredibly sweet side. Loves being held, happily accepts kisses and is always purring!

Both are extremely loving and love to be around their people! They adore each other, love cats, dogs, and everyone they meet. If you're looking for twice the love, twice the entertainment, and two best friends who deserve a lifetime together, Poppy and Poe are waiting for you.

All of our adoptable rescues have a clean bill of health (unless otherwise stated), are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriately), tested (FeLV/FIV for cats over 8 months of age, HW for dogs over 6 months of age), current on flea and heartworm prevention and microchipped. This is all included in their adoption fee that goes in as a donation to help us cover their medical costs and continue to help other animals in need.
