Hi, I'm Lei! I'm an 11-year-old DSH with the cutest crossed eyes and a gentle heart. I spent my entire life with the same two people after they found me as a kitten, so when I came to the shelter after my family was no longer able to care for me, I was understandably overwhelmed. I had only ever known my people and a quiet, familiar home, so adjusting to a completely new world has been a big challenge for me.

I'm slowly learning that the people I see every day can be trusted, and I get so excited when my favorite humans come around! I'll roll over, ask for pets, and happily soak up their attention. I also love wand toys, laser pointers, and finding a cozy spot in or near a window where I can watch the world go by. I've always done wonderfully with other cats, too!

I've never lived with dogs or children, and at 11, I'd much rather keep things calm and skip those introductions.. My ideal home will need to be quiet, patient, and willing to let me decompress at my own pace. I may need some time before I fully show you who I am, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I know I'll make an incredibly sweet and devoted companion.

I'm spayed, microchipped, and up to date on my care-and I'm ready for someone who understands that the best friendships sometimes take a little time to grow.
