Lebowski - Black Labrador Retriever and Pit Bull Terrier Dog for Adoption in Louisville, Kentucky

Hey there, I'm Lebowski - a 4-year-old Lab/Pit mix just trying to find my footing again. I came to Animal Care Society when my previous owners were moving and could not take me with them. I miss my family.

I've been pretty shy since arriving, and the shelter can feel like a lot for a sensitive guy like me. I tend to hang back at first and take everything in, but with a little patience and a lot of kindness, I start to relax. What I really need is a calm, loving home where I can feel safe and come out of my shell at my own pace - I promise there's a really good dog in here. Because of this, I would do best in a home with kids 12+.

I'm dog friendly and enjoy the company of other pups. I've never been around cats before, so I'm not quite sure how I feel about them.

I'm fully up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered, so I'm ready whenever you are. I may be a little unsure right now, but I know once I'm out of here, I'll be so much happier.
