Lord - Dogue De Bordeaux and Boerboel Dog for Adoption in Louisville, Kentucky

Name's Lord. I'm kind of a cool guy around here, hence the name. I was transferred to ACS from an overcrowded shelter, where I had been turned in as a stray. I was found pretty emaciated and it appeared like I had been on my own for a while. Fast forward a few months, I went from about 65lbs to a whopping 105lbs. I have gained weight and confidence, and I'm ready to find my forever home.

I already know basic commands, and will do anything for a treat. My favorite thing to do is to find a nice patch of grass and roll around, I could do it all day! Oh and pools, how could I forget?! I love to swim, splash around in a kiddy pool, or run through a sprinkler. I also enjoy playing with most other dogs, as long as they are up for a slobbery game of wrestle mania.

I would make a great companion for someone looking for an active pup who is always ready for whatever comes next. I enjoy walks and hiking, playing outside, splashing around in a dog pool (I love water!), and playing tug of war.

I'm neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped, and I'm ready to find my forever home. Could you be my person?
