Mia - Domestic Short Hair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Liverpool, Texas

Meet Mia, the tabby with a mind of her own! This young lady has her routine down: a little window time, a little bed time, and a whole lot of relaxing. She’s become far more comfortable around people, and she’ll even hang out with you on the bed, as long as you respect her personal bubble.

Let’s be clear: Mia is not a cuddle bug. She is more of a “close, but not too close” companion. A few pets here and there are welcome, but picking her up? Absolutely not. Try to grab her and she will be gone in a flash. Her motto: company yes, carrying no.

When it comes to playtime, Mia is a free spirit. Some of her fancy toys don’t impress her one bit, but anything small she finds on her own is a treasure. She’s also a sneaky one. If something moves on the other side of a door, out come the paws underneath to say hello!

Mia is feeling much more at home, though she likes to stay in one room most of the time. Her foster family hopes she finds a forever home that offers patience, love, and plenty of space to keep coming out of her shell.
