Honey - Domestic Short Hair and Tabby Cat for Adoption in Liverpool, Texas

Honey’s story began outdoors, where she was a stray mama doing everything she could to survive. When she came into foster care, she was very shut down and hesitant to trust people. But with time, patience, and kindness, something beautiful began to happen. Honey started to blossom.

Today, she is a gentle girl who happily accepts pets and head scratches once she feels comfortable. She has a playful side too, enjoying interactive playtime with little meows and gentle playful nibbles. She loves to relax on a cat tree and watch the world go by through the window, and she is comfortable around other cats and enjoys having feline friends nearby.

The most beautiful thing about Honey is watching her learn to trust. Every head scratch she accepts, every playful meow, and every moment she chooses to stay close is a reminder of how far she’s come. She isn’t the type to run into your arms right away, and that’s okay. She is looking for someone who will celebrate her little milestones and give her the time she needs to feel safe, with a warm place to sleep, a window to watch the birds, and a family who will love her unconditionally.
