Brisbane - Australian Cattle Dog Blue Heeler and Catahoula Leopard Dog Dog for Adoption in Liverpool, Texas

Meet Brisbane – The Red Heeler Mix Who Wants to Help With Everything - Transport Available Nationwide

Some dogs are happy to watch from the couch. I’m not one of them. I’m Brisbane, a young red Heeler and Catahoula Leopard Dog mix, and I believe the best way to spend a day is right in the middle of the action with my favorite human.

Ask anyone who knows me and they’ll tell you I love attention, I love to play, and I love to be part of whatever is going on. I’m not trying to get in the way. I just really want to help!

Here’s the thing about a girl like me: my energy needs somewhere to go. Running, exploring, and learning new skills are the activities that fill my cup, and enrichment puzzles give my busy brain a good challenge. I’m quick to learn and I genuinely want to make you proud. While I’m still growing up, I can be stubborn and a bit unpredictable, so I’ll need a person who stays consistent and leads with positivity.

I’d do best with someone who has experience with working breeds and can offer me structure, a predictable routine, and real tasks to tackle. Since I’m still working on controlling my excitement, small children may find me to be too much. A fenced yard would make my day even brighter.

My current family cares about me deeply and wants to see me with someone who can keep up. Give me a chance, and I’ll give you a devoted companion who never strays far from your side.
