Jade is a very quiet, beautiful, dark tortie girl with green eyes and soft fur. She is still a little reserved and cautious of her new surroundings. She will eventually warm up to you, rub against your legs and accept petting; she is just slower to accept the new changes and to come out of her shell. Although she was housed with other cats previously, she appears to be a dominant cat based on her reaction to seeing the foster’s personal cats. Her favorite place right now is on high platforms and snuggling in a cubby or basket. Jade can be picked up and held briefly, and will play with string toys, but right now she is still trying to adjust to a new life and environment. She would do best in a quiet home and potentially as an only cat. Jade was previously in a home with other cats, but she lost his owner due to a sudden unfortunate accident.
This kitty should get along with older kids, other cats, and cat-friendly dogs given proper introductions.
Jade was born approximately December 7, 2021, and her adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is one-half price. She is spayed, up-to-date on shots and deworming, has a microchip, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus.

You can visit our adoptable cats and kittens during weekend business hours at our adoption center, address and times above. During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend.
