Finn is a friendly, confident orange cat. He arrived injured to a kill shelter after an attack by another animal. Now, he is healed and ready for a wonderful new life. He likes people, being petted, and playing. He does really well with other cats although he’s been known to chase the females for fun now and then if he’s bored. He probably picked this up from the other cats in the house who invented the “chase the girls” game. The girls are not amused. Mostly, he just lounges around like a free-loader, expecting wet food in the morning and a steady supply of dry cat food, with some petting sessions.

He was so snuggly when he was recovering, wanting to be close, on a lap even when it hurt him to move. Now he appreciates the petting and will get on the bed for a while but doesn’t stay. It could be that there are several cats in the foster home and he’s the new guy, keeping a low profile to fit in. There is good potential for the snuggly Finn to return.

It’s unknown how he’ll be with young children and dogs, but given his demeanor, he should be fine with proper introductions.
Finn was born approximately April 17, 2023, and his adoption fee is $105, or adopt two and the second is half off. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations and deworming, is microchipped, and tested negative for feline leukemia virus. Come see this sweet boy at our adoption center this weekend!

During the week, all our kitties live in licensed foster homes, and while most do come to the adoption center each weekend, not every kitty attends every weekend.
