Meet Niko!

Niko is a 12-year-old orange-and-white tabby gentleman who has mastered the art of taking life easy.

He's calm, independent and perfectly content to enjoy his favorite things: good food, cozy naps and doing things on his own terms. He isn't the type to demand constant attention, but when he's ready for affection, he'll let you know.

Niko has lived with kids, adults, other cats and small dogs and has done well with them. He's an indoor cat and has no litter box issues.

After 10 years with his family, Niko is looking for a new home because changing circumstances have made it impossible for his family to keep all of their pets.

And Niko isn't necessarily looking for this next chapter alone.

He is bonded with Seven, a four-year-old orange tabby who is also looking for a home. They aren't littermates, but they've formed a friendship over the years, and we'd love to see these two find a home together.

Seven is the affectionate cuddlebug. Niko is the mellow guy who prefers to lounge nearby. It just might be the perfect balance.

We'd love for them to be adopted together, although we know that isn't always possible.

For Niko, the dream is a calm, comfortable home where he can settle in, follow his own routine and enjoy plenty of cozy places to nap.
