Cider - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Johnston, Rhode Island

Calling all the "tortie lovers" out there! The girl of your dreams has arrived...it's CIDER! CIDER is a gorgeous short-haired female with a striking, classic tortoiseshell (tortie) patterned coat. Her fur is shades of jet black speckled with honey/orange throughout her entire body. CIDER has the most expressive, big, round green eyes. Our vet staff estimates CIDER to be approximately one year old.

CIDER was found in the nick of time in a residential area with her two kittens fending for herself and trying to survive. Mama CIDER and her two babies were successfully rescued and brought to our cat center. Upon arrival, they were then seen by our vet staff and immediately whisked away to a wonderful foster care home to spend some quality time out of the shelter environment. When the time came, CIDER was later separated from her kittens and came back to our amazing facility to be spayed. CIDER took everything in stride. This little lady is a gem of a cat! She is super friendly with a calm, gentle and welcoming demeanor to all. CIDER'S temporary foster mom describes CIDER as an extremely sweet gal who is always content to lay beside you. She loves to have her head gently rubbed around her ears. CIDER likes to observe her surroundings....whether that be looking out the windows to the outside world, or simply watching the daily comings and goings inside our busy cat center. CIDER enjoys being pet and can be picked up and handled with ease. If you are looking for a new bestie or purr-fect addition to your family, consider CIDER as she just may be what you have been waiting for!

Spayed, Rabies and FVRCP vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested negative, Flea prevention applied and Microchipped.

If you'd like to meet CIDER, or any of our adoptable cats or kittens, please fill out an Adoption Form found in the link: https://pawswatch.org/adoptio
