Sable - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Meet Sable!

The adoption application can be found here:
https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/ROSE/Cat

Sable is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along their route. We cannot transport to Massachusetts, New Hampshire or Rhode Island.

Sable's story started in a box, abandoned alongside her siblings with devastating eye infections. Despite everything she endured, this little girl never lost her love for life. Her eyes couldn't be saved, and Sable has had a double enucleation-but she hasn't let that slow her down one bit. She plays, explores, purrs, and loves with her whole heart. Sable may not see the world, but she knows exactly where the good stuff is: a warm lap, a favorite toy, and someone to love.

Sable is 5 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, and in great health. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy. All she needs now is her forever home! Sable does great with young kids, other cats and even dogs!

Sable's foster sibling is Aster (F)

Priority will be given to applicants interested in adopting a pair of kittens, siblings, or who have patient, playful resident cats or dogs at home. Information on why adopting two kittens together is best for their short- and long-term health and behavior can be found here:

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:
Our adoption fees include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchipping, and transportation costs. Also, when you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee sponsors a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts!
