Thumbelina - American Shorthair Cat for Adoption in Houston, Texas

Meet Thumbelina, a sweet girl with a strong heart.

Thumbelina is a beautiful 2-year-old orange tabby girl with a playful spirit, a soft heart, and a very special kind of love to give. She loves to play with other cats and her favorite people. Once you earn her trust, you will have her love forever.

Thumbelina absolutely loves feline companionship and comes alive when she has a cat friend to play with. She especially enjoys romping around with her foster mate Rambo, who is also available for adoption.

As for people, once she feels comfortable with you, her playful, affectionate personality begins to emerge. She loves interacting with her favorite people, and the bond she forms with someone she trusts is incredibly special. Thumbelina may make you work a little harder for her heart, but once she gives it to you, you’ll have her love forever.

And don’t let that sweet little face fool you—Thumbelina is tough. As a kitten, she battled a serious contagious illness and came through it stronger than ever. She has already overcome a difficult beginning, and now she deserves the chance to discover just how good life can be.

Thumbelina’s perfect adopter won’t expect her to fall in love on day one. They’ll give her time, kindness, consistency, and the freedom to build trust at her own pace. In return, they’ll get something pretty wonderful: the experience of watching a cautious little cat decide, bit by bit, that you are her person.

Thumbelina is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, youre doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you for your contribution to our efforts!
