Rambo is a handsome 4-year-old black cat with a playful side, an independent streak, and just the right amount of affection.

Rambo likes his humans. He enjoys being around you, appreciates a good petting session, and is happy to spend time together—but he’s also perfectly capable of entertaining himself. He’s not a lap cat and doesn’t need to be the center of attention every minute of the day. Think of him less as a clingy sidekick and more as a very cool roommate who genuinely enjoys your company.

At 4 years old, Rambo has grown out of the nonstop chaos of kittenhood, but he definitely hasn’t lost his playful side. He still loves to have fun and will happily show off his inner kitten when it’s time to play. His favorite playmate is his foster mate Thumbelina (also adoptable!), and he gets along well with other cats.

Once playtime is over, though, Rambo is just as content doing his own thing. He has a wonderful balance of independence and companionship: he wants a relationship with his people without needing constant reassurance or attention.

If you’re looking for an easygoing companion with a playful personality, an independent spirit, and plenty of affection to give on his own terms, Rambo may be your guy.

Rambo is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:

When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, youre doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you for your contribution to our efforts!
