Meet Mika

Mika is officially 1 year old, and this gorgeous white and gray tabby is one confident, happy girl! With her striking orange eyes, playful personality, and serious appreciation for food, Mika is pretty much the full package.

Mika made the big journey from Houston, Texas, to Seattle and is now happily settled into her West Seattle foster home. And she wasted absolutely no time making herself comfortable. She’s confident, social, playful, and completely at home with her dog pals. She loves being part of the action and has no problem keeping up with the household crew.

Her favorite activities? Chasing a feather wand and eating. Honestly, Mika has her priorities figured out. Give her a feather wand and she is ready to PLAY. Give her a meal and she is equally enthusiastic.

Mika came from a home where an unspayed and unneutered cat population quickly grew beyond what the family could manage. Like many of the cats from that situation, Mika found herself needing a fresh start and a family of her own.

Today, she’s a confident, affectionate, playful young cat who knows exactly what she likes. She enjoys her people, loves her dog friends, and is always ready to investigate whatever fun might be happening nearby. She has the kind of personality that makes you smile — and the kind of eyes that make it very difficult to say no to her.
