Meet Papi!

Papi is a handsome 3-year-old, 50-pound black Lab mix with a heart of gold. This sweet boy has been through a lot in his young life, but you would never know it by meeting him. He is happy, loving, loyal, and ready to enjoy everything life has to offer.

Before coming into foster care, Papi had never lived inside a home. It only took him a few days to figure out what this whole “house dog” thing was about—and he has done wonderfully! He is now both house trained and crate trained.

Papi currently lives with four other dogs and has even welcomed a canine houseguest without a problem. He gets along beautifully with the whole crew and enjoys having doggy friends around.

He has also been out and about experiencing the world with his foster family. He has visited stores, gone to the veterinarian and canine dentist, and spent time around children. He has handled every new experience like a champ. Papi also walks beautifully on a leash, making him a wonderful companion for outings and adventures.

If you enjoy being outdoors, Papi would be thrilled to join you! He has a playful, adventurous side and absolutely loves swimming and playing fetch. Whether it’s a day of exploring, playing in the water, or simply spending time with his people, Papi is happiest when he is included.

Despite everything he has experienced, Papi’s loving and trusting spirit has never disappeared. He is one of those special dogs who seems genuinely grateful for every bit of kindness and affection he receives. Now he just needs a family to call his own.

Papi is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date on vaccines.
