Amaretto is a beautiful white girl with soft gray spots and the fiercest golden-yellow eyes. But behind that striking gaze is a sweet, gentle soul who is learning that the world can be a safe and loving place.
Amaretto is still blossoming. She can be a little skittish at first, but every day she grows a little braver. When she finds the courage to come ask for attention, she absolutely melts for scratches and affection. She loves curling up on a lap or settling in close beside her people when its time to turn in for the night. You can tell she wants to be loved deeply—she just needs a little patience and reassurance while she learns to trust.
Life hasnt always been calm and comforting for Amaretto, and shes still shedding those timid pieces of herself. But underneath her cautious exterior is a sweet, loyal girl who is ready for someone willing to give her the time and patience she deserves.
Amaretto is looking for a warm, peaceful home where she can continue to come out of her she'll at her own pace. Give her a little time, and you may just discover the most devoted little companion.
And one more thing: Amaretto has a sister, Martini! She wouldnt mind at all if her forever home had room for both of them.

Amaretto has been in a foster home with multiple other kitties and loves to play with them and her sister Martini. She would do well if adopted with another cat, or to a home with a friendly resident cat she could snuggle and play with. With the right family who will give her the love she needs, she could also thrive as an only cat. Amaretto has never met a dog, but with slow introductions to a patient, cat-savvy dog we think she could learn to love a new pup sibling.

Amaretto is approximately 2 years old, spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy.. all she needs now is a patient forever home!
