Corey is still settling into shelter life, so we're getting to know him a little more each day-but one thing is already clear: this handsome guy has all the makings of an amazing companion.
According to his previous family, Corey is an easygoing, laid-back cat with "best friend" energy. He's independent enough to do his own thing, but he also enjoys being around his people and isn't afraid to chat when he has something to say. Whether he's chasing a toy, exploring the house, or finding the perfect cozy spot to nap (he's not picky!), Corey is happy just being part of the family.
He's an active, playful boy who has lived with other cats and may enjoy having a feline friend, though he has been known to playfully chase them from time to time. Since arriving at the shelter, Corey has been a little nervous as he adjusts to all the new sights and sounds, but that's completely understandable. We know his confident, easygoing personality is waiting to shine through.
