Meet Roo!

Roo is a stunning, smart, and active girl who forms incredibly strong bonds with those she trusts. Her past is unknown, and she can be nervous in new situations, taking time to feel comfortable with unfamiliar people. Once she does, though, she's a loyal, affectionate companion who loves being by your side.

Roo is looking for a quiet, adult-only home with an experienced adopter who understands that trust takes time. She'll thrive with a predictable routine, continued training, and thoughtful introductions to new people. A home with one or two adults and few visitors would be ideal.

She's eager to learn, loves staying active, and will flourish with someone who enjoys training and celebrating every little victory. One of Roo's favorite things in the world is her toys-it's impossible not to smile watching her happily toss them around, entertain herself, and break into playful zoomies. She also enjoys spending time with her canine friends, whether it's going for walks together or romping around the play yard. While she gets along well with other dogs, she'd prefer to be the only dog in her home so she doesn't have to share her favorite humans. She may also do well with a dog-savvy cat.

Roo isn't looking for everyone-she's looking for her people. If you have a patient heart and are ready to give this special girl the chance she deserves, she's looking for a foster or adoptive home where she can finally relax and shine.

The Collie is a graceful and intelligent dog known for their loyalty, gentle nature, and exceptional herding abilities. They come in two coat varieties, rough and smooth, with colors ranging from sable and white to blue merle. Collies excel in obedience training and thrive on mental stimulation and physical activity. Their keen intuition and strong bond with their owners make them wonderful family pets and reliable working dogs in tasks such as herding livestock or in search and rescue missions.

The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity.
