If you've been dreaming of a cat who wants to be your constant companion, Sonnet is ready to make that dream come true. This sweet girl is happiest when she's curled up beside you-or even better, stretched across your chest-soaking up pets while purring the day away.
Sonnet is incredibly affectionate and loves being close to her people. She enjoys being held, happily settles into your arms, and greets you with love every time you come home. At night, she'll often snuggle up right beside you in bed, making sure you never have to sleep alone.
While she's certainly up for a game with a ball or a fun toy, Sonnet is more of a cuddle bug than a whirlwind. She enjoys playtime but is perfectly content spending much of her day lounging on her favorite scratcher, relaxing on the bed, or keeping you company around the house.
Like many affectionate cats, Sonnet can occasionally get a little carried away during cuddle time and give gentle "love bites" when she's feeling especially excited. Because of this, she'd do best with a cat-savvy adopter who can recognize when she's getting overstimulated and simply give her a little space when she asks for it. She communicates well and will typically walk away or meow when she's ready for a break.
Sonnet has excellent house manners, reliably uses her scratching post and litter box, and is an easy companion to have around. She can be a bit curious about countertops and houseplants, but with gentle redirection she's already making great progress.
