Hi, I'm Charlie!
Have you ever met a cat who thinks ear scratches are the greatest invention of all time? Well, now you have! My name is Charlie, and I'm a handsome 2-year-old tabby who came from a partner rescue in hopes of finding my perfect forever family. I can be a little shy when I first meet new people and explore new places, so don't be surprised if I need a little time to figure things out. Once I realize I'm safe, though, you'll get to see the sweet, loving kitty hiding underneath.
When I decide you're one of my favorite humans, get ready for lots of affection! My absolute favorite thing is having my ears scratched, and if you stop too soon, I might gently reach out and grab your hand as my way of saying, 'Excuse me, I wasn't finished being adored yet!' I'm a quiet, gentle guy who enjoys companionship and loves spending time near my people.
My dream home is a calm and peaceful one. Dogs can be a little scary for me, and I'd really love to be your one-and-only feline superstar, though I may be able to share with a mellow female cat. What I'm really wishing for is someone patient who will let me settle in at my own pace, a sunny window where I can watch birds and chatter about neighborhood happenings, and a cozy spot next to you where I can curl up and relax. If you're looking for a loyal friend who will reward your patience with lots of love and purrs, I think we should meet!

You can save animals like this one by becoming a foster! Fosters are like bridges between high kill shelters and forever homes. We need fosters so that we can save cats and dogs before they are euthanized at the shelters. If you are interested in becoming a foster, please visit: https://fancycats.org/volunteer
