Meet Victoria!! (case #20577)
Victoria is a sweet little girl of about three months old who is just beginning to discover that perhaps humans aren’t quite as scary as she once believed.
Victoria arrived with Daniel, and like him, she most likely spent her short life on the streets. When you’re born outside, you learn pretty quickly that keeping your distance from people is the safest thing to do. So Victoria is still working on rewriting that story.
The good news? She’s curious. Victoria is a little more willing than Daniel to approach people and check them out, but she still needs plenty of time, patience, and gentle encouragement before she’ll feel truly comfortable. She isn’t going to become a confident cuddlebug overnight, but every small step forward is a victory.
Victoria will need a patient, cat-savvy home where her people understand that trust takes time. A friendly, confident cat companion could also help show her the ropes and demonstrate that humans can actually be pretty wonderful.
For now, Victoria may watch you from a safe distance, cautiously inch a little closer, and then decide she’s had enough excitement for one day. But with patience and consistency, we hope she’ll continue to realize that she’s safe.
She’s just a tiny girl who has spent her whole life learning to be cautious. Now she needs someone willing to patiently teach her that she doesn’t have to be anymore. Please complete an adoption request:
