Meet Voss, a gorgeous all-black kitten who may be the biggest 4-month-old you've ever seen! Don't let his size fool you—this handsome boy is still very much a kitten, even if he's rapidly catching up to adult-cat proportions. Honestly, if I were renaming him, I'd call him Black Velvet, because his coat is uniquely silky. But Voss isn't just handsome—he has an incredibly sweet and nurturing personality. He's a natural caretaker. When his younger foster siblings tried to nurse on him, Voss simply took it in stride and groomed them. He gets along wonderfully with adult cats and seems to genuinely enjoy having feline friends around. And then there's his love for dogs. Voss absolutely LOVES my dog! He has become especially fond of my 35-pound Corgi mix, Pablo. Voss will frequently reach out and pet Pablo, and the two are perfectly happy curling up together. With humans, Voss enjoys cuddle time, too. He's not necessarily a traditional lap cat—he'd generally rather sit right beside you than on you—but he loves being near his people and keeping you company. And if you can't find him? Look up! His favorite place is usually the highest landing on the cat tree, where he can conduct his very important surveillance duties. From his lookout post, Voss keeps an eye on the entire household, making sure everyone is safe, happy, and behaving appropriately. Voss is a big boy with an even bigger heart. He's gentle, social, nurturing, dog-friendly, cat-friendly, and absolutely gorgeous. Voss may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he decides you’re one of his people, he’s more than happy to settle in for some serious snuggle time.
