Highland Spring may be his official name, but around here, he’s Dash. This handsome grey tuxedo has one speed: FAST. Dash is a professional door-dasher, but don’t let his escape-artist antics fool you—he’s not trying to get away from his people. He simply believes that every closed door is a personal challenge and every new space is an opportunity for adventure. Once he makes his great escape, he’s happy to lounge on the front porch and introduce himself to the neighbors. And when it is time to go back inside? No problem! He’s perfectly happy to be picked up. Dash is also quite the athlete. He leaps high buildings in a single bound, scales anything that looks remotely climbable, and was voted by his classmates “Most Likely to Climb Mt. Everest.” And just LOOK at that face! He’s an incredibly handsome grey tuxedo with an adorable little dark spot that gives him the distinguished appearance of a tiny mustached gentleman. Dash gets along with the other cats in the house and politely tolerates the resident dog. His relationship with Gandalf, an 8-year-old cat, is a little more complicated. Gandalf does not appreciate Dash’s firm belief that Gandalf’s voluminous tail was provided specifically for kitten entertainment. For all his high-energy adventures, Dash understands the importance of recharging. After all that climbing, zooming, and neighborhood socializing, he would absolutely love to take his naps right in your lap. Dash is completely bonkers for Delectables and Churu. He has been known to grab your hand in his enthusiasm and has absolutely NO interest in sharing the sweet stuff. For everyone’s safety (and Dash’s snack satisfaction), treat time is a private affair. If you’re looking for a handsome, hilarious, adventurous, affectionate, high-energy little character who will keep you entertained and then curl up in your lap for a nap, Dash might be your guy.
