DESCRIPTION

‍ Meet Isabella & Her Little Coven — Winnie, Sarah, Mary, Dani & Thackery!

There is something especially sweet about Isabella.

While her babies are busy doing all the things kittens do, Isabella seems perfectly content to leave the chaos to the younger generation. She's an old soul — gentle, affectionate, and much more interested in pets and snuggles than chasing toys around the room.

Isabella loves attention from her people and is wonderful with children, both young and older. She's also great with cats of all ages. Her experience with dogs is more limited, so we can't say for certain how she'd feel about sharing her forever home with one.

Mostly, Isabella seems ready for the good life.

A soft bed. A loving family. Plenty of pets. And perhaps the opportunity to retire from motherhood once and for all.

And after everything she's been through, we'd say she's earned it.

Isabella and her five babies came to us from an abandoned hoarding situation. Now that they're safe, we're getting to know five very different little personalities:

WINNIE
Winnie is a happy, playful, loving little girl who seems to think everyone has the potential to be her friend. She's done wonderfully with kids, dogs, and cats of all ages and is ready to bring her cheerful kitten energy to a family of her own.

SARAH
Much like her sister Winnie, Sarah is loving, playful, and wonderfully social. She's comfortable with kids, dogs, and other cats and is an all-around sweet little kitten who's ready to have some fun.

MARY
Mary marches to the beat of her own little drum. She's more reserved than her siblings and isn't quite as interested in human affection yet. She can be shy and a little cautious, but when the kittens come out to play, Mary is right there joining the fun. She's okay around kids and a little skittish with dogs. She'll do best with a family willing to give her the time and space to settle in at her own pace.

DANI — One Eye, Zero Limitations
Dani has had one eye removed, but we'd like to formally report that nobody has informed Dani that she's any different from the other kittens.

Flies? She'll catch them.
Bugs? She's on it.
Spiders? Consider your pest-control needs handled.

Being a one-eyed kitten hasn't slowed Dani down one bit. She's busy living her life and proving that two eyes are apparently optional when you've got her level of determination.

THACKERY
And then there's Thackery, our professional cuddle buddy. This sweet boy is extremely loving and thinks sleeping with his people is an excellent arrangement. He's great with kids, dogs, and cats of all ages and would be very happy to have a forever family willing to make room for him at bedtime.

And here's where the matchmaking gets fun.

Winnie, Sarah, Mary, Dani, and Thackery are also fostered with Barnaby, Buck, and Hei Hei, so these kittens have a whole extended friend group!

They do not have to be paired with a sibling. If you're looking to adopt two, they can be mixed and matched with the other kittens in their foster group based on personality and the best fit.

So perhaps you fall for Thackery but also can't stop thinking about Hei Hei? That works.
Winnie and Buck seem like your dream team? Also an option.

We have plenty of kittens who already know one another, giving us lots of possibilities for finding just the right pair for your family.

Five babies. Five very different personalities. One sweet mama who's finished raising them. And a whole bunch of kitten friends who are ready for homes of their own.

They came from a place where there were far too many cats and not nearly enough of anything else.

Now each of them gets the chance to have what every cat deserves — a family of their very own.

Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.

All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
