BORIS - Domestic Short Hair and Tuxedo Cat for Adoption in Griffith, Indiana

Summer is here! Warmer weather is here and so are lots of kittens and older cats that need homes! Please consider adopting- especially some of our older residents! Maybe even two kittens or cats? Remember every cat you adopt actually saves TWO cats lives and help countless more cats & kittens! When you adopt one cat, it makes room to save another! Win! Win! The kitties thank you too!

This is Boris!
Boris is a domestic short haired black & white tuxedo, neutered male, up to date on his shots, around 2 years old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/ Treasured Friends Rescue in NWI.

I'm Boris and I'm here at the shelter, just waiting until it's time for my new home. I had a home before but my person couldn't keep me because they had to move somewhere that I couldn't go. I'm a little sad that I lost my home but I'm not going to let it get me down, I'm ready for a new one! I'm a super sweet boy and I know someone wants a cute and playful (older) kitty in their life furrrever!! I'm a little older, but I still have lots of kitten in me! I'm 1/4 goof, 1/4 sweet, 1/4 playful and 1/4 a little lazy! That adds up to a 100% purrrrfect kitty !!
I am mostly white, but I have some well placed black splotches on me. My tail is long and I have it up all the time! I always have a lot to say too, if you can translate my meows, chirps and purrs!
I want a home filled with love and affection, so I can finally be the kitty I want to be! I want pets! I want toys! I want a sunny spot to sleep in! I want lots of cuddles! I want a home!
My previous home didn't work out so I can't wait to get another chance! I would love give all my love to someone who love me too!
Come see me at the shelter today! I have my own "room" there and we can visit! if you have another kitty (especially a younger kitty that wants to play!!) that would be great! I'm super nice and live people, so kids are fine too. Not sure about dogs though.

If you're looking for a sweet & playful boy, give Boris a chance! We think you'll love this cute little boy! Make an appointment to meet him! Please call 219-922-1766 and leave a message to meet Boris. Also, please fill out an adoption application which can be found online at TreasuredFriendsRescue.org or follow the link from our profile ( scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page) at Petfinder!

Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't give a chance, a helping hand at getting a forever home. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months. We are always here to help with any questions Please, only apply if you are an experienced cat owner or are willing to provide patience and good forever home.
Thank you!
