Gunner is domestic short haired brown tabby, neutered male, up to date on his shots, arounx 2 year old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Highland Northwest Indiana.

Howdy! I'm Gunner! I'm just a big 'ole boy kitty looking for a home. I'm very laid back and really like a good 'ol scritchin' every now and again. I don't like talkin' about my self much, but I'm a nice boy and I'd really like a nice person to love me back. That would make me happier than a hog in mudhole on a summer day!
Before I got to the shelter, I was livin' outside. No one paid any attention to me and food was hard to come by. One day some nice people got me to the shelter! Who would have known I'd be so happy to be inside, but I am! I'm purdy lucky to get a 2nd chance at a furrrrever home. I love being inside and having people sayin' I'm a good boy! The pettin' and good eatin' are the icin' on my wet kitty food ( that I love!) I REALLY want my forever family (or person) so I can start lovin' on them .
I might be a little shy at first (or I might NOT be!) but once I get to know you I'm as sweet as a five pound bag of sugar
I'm ready to gooooo! Get your boots ascootin' and make an appointment to come and see me at the shelter! I have my own "room" here and we can visit! I like other kitties, so If you already have a friend we should be able to get along (with the proper introduction period). Gentle kids are probably fine, but not sure about dogs though.

Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't give a chance, a helping hand at getting a forever home. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them.
