Milo is domestic short haired orange tabby with white, neutered male, up to date on his shots, a little over a year old and available for adoption to be an indoor ONLY cat from Griffith Animal Control/Treasured Friends Rescue in Highland Northwest Indiana.

Here I am! My name is Milo! I'm the sweetest ginger kitty around!
I'm lucky to be at the shelter, but I'm still hoping for a home. I did have a home but one day everything changed and I lost my home after a tornado! I could have ended up on the street, but was able to stay at the shelter. It was scary at first, but everyone has made me feel welcomed. I feel so much better now but still would love to get even more attention.
I want to live my real BEST life now, so I'm looking for my forever home .
I REALLY want my own home and someone (or a family) to love me. I'm a little older but I'm the sweetest boy & I still love to play! I love pets too! I also REALLY love naps too! I hope one day I can take long naps in the window and look outside and remember how lucky I am not to be out there.
I might need a little patience and time to get used to a home because loud noises can sometimes scare me. But I think that will all go away in the right at home with the right family or person!

Let's meet me at the shelter & see if we hit it off! I like other kitties so a home with another kitty (with the proper introduction) would be great! However, probably NO dogs. I'm a gentle nice kitty so older kids are okay.

Griffith Animal Control, in partnership with Treasured Friends Animal Rescue believes in giving kitties that others wouldn't give a chance, a helping hand at getting a forever home. Our volunteers work with shy and/or unsocialized kitties everyday to gain their trust to show them they are safe and no one will hurt them. However, when the kitties go to a new home, some will require extra time to get used to new surroundings and different people. Please consider giving a kittie who might need a little time to get used to a new home, a chance. This is a serious commitment and it sets the kitties back in their level of trust if they are given up after a few weeks or months.
