Tabitha is a gentle, affectionate little girl who has the sweetest way of showing you she trusts you. She loves being held against my chest, resting her head on my shoulder, and purring contentedly in my arms!

When Tabitha first sees me, she'll often stand a little distance away and watch. She's naturally cautious and likes to make sure everything is safe before approaching. But once I'm near her and pick her up, she relaxes into my arms and enjoys being loved. It's one of my favorite things about her!

Tabitha has a calm, easygoing personality with a playful side that comes out when she's comfortable. She enjoys being near people and spending time with other cats, but she's also content to have a little independence. She's not the kind of kitten who needs to be the center of attention every minute, although she certainly appreciates affection when she's ready for it.

Tabitha and her three littermates were born to a stray mama cat at an apartment complex in Fort Worth. They were brought into rescue and gradually socialized, learning that people can be trusted and that being held and loved is actually pretty wonderful!

Tabitha would do best with someone patient and gentle who will give her a little time to adjust to her new surroundings. Starting her off in a small, quiet room where she can get comfortable with her new person would be ideal. Once she feels secure, she'll reward that patience with the sweetest cuddles and purrs.
