From his foster mom, Elizabeth:
Jericho has never met a person he didn't want to be friends with.
This sweet, affectionate boy believes that people are the greatest invention ever created, and he wants to be wherever they are. If you're sitting down, he's there. If you're working, he's helping. If you're walking through the house, he's right behind you making sure you don't get lonely.
One of my favorite things about Jericho is how incredibly happy he is. He purrs through almost everything, including vet visits, nail trims, and even the occasional scolding. In fact, he has been known to make biscuits while being examined at the veterinarian's office. His cheerful outlook on life is impossible not to love.
Jericho can also be quite talkative. If he feels lonely or thinks you've been away from him for far too long, he'll happily share his thoughts. His sweet little voice is part of his charm and one of the many reasons he earned his name.
Jericho was bottle-fed from just a few days old, and it shows in the best possible way. He is incredibly people-focused, affectionate, and trusting. He genuinely wants to be part of his family's daily life and thrives on interaction and companionship.
His story is remarkable. When he was only a tiny kitten, rescuers heard crying coming from inside a wall. After finding his brother, Hadrian, they later discovered Jericho trapped inside as well. He had spent an entire day without his mother's warmth or milk, and everyone worried he might not survive. But Jericho had other plans. He fought his way through those difficult beginnings and quickly became the braver and more talkative of the two brothers.
Today, Jericho is a happy, confident kitten who loves people, gets along well with other cats, and has enough affection to fill an entire house.
He would thrive in an active family or with someone who works from home and wants a constant companion. If you're looking for a kitten who will greet you every morning, follow you throughout the day, and remind you how loved you are, Jericho may be your perfect match.

At Meowtown, we don't have a traditional, physical shelter - all of our cats live in loving foster homes. That means they are already used to real home life, and we truly know their personalities, habits, and what makes them special. They are safe, socialized, and ready to be part of a family. They're not waiting to become housecats... they already are. They just need a house.
This kitten has not been spayed yet, but is available as Foster2Adopt. You adopt and take the kitten home with you, and we pay for and arrange for spay later.
If you are interested in meeting me, please contact my rescue family at MeowtownAR@gmail.com to arrange a visit with my foster home!
