Nefertem - Domestic Short Hair and Ocicat Cat for Adoption in Cookeville, Tennessee

I was found wandering in an overlook wilderness area. First I showed up on some trail cameras where Ms Tana was searching for a missing cat who had previously been adopted from her. (that cat was finally found and returned home after nine weeks of being lost) Ms Tana is concerned I was dumped there on purpose. I was very thirsty and hungry and started coming regularly to the watering/feeding station that Ms Tana had set up. After a couple of days of seeing me on camera, Ms Tana set a trap for me, and I was successfully caught. I was very scared and distrusting at first. But after being in Ms Tana's home for a while, it became obvious I was not a feral cat at all.

I'm very "talkative" and very active and curious. I like to explore the household and follow Ms Tana around. I love getting on the very top level of the cat trees in the house and look down at the other kitties and dog. Ms Tana will write more about me later today ...
