Bunky - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Cleveland, Ohio

Bunky originally came to us from the Collinwood neighborhood of Cleveland in January 2021. He wasn't with us for very long before he was adopted by a family, and at the time, he was about five years old.
Fast-forward to August 2026, and Bunky found himself back with us after changes in his family's circumstances meant they were no longer able to care for him. They shared that he had become very skittish in their home and spent much of his time hiding. It sounds like a busy household with young children may simply not have been the best fit for him.

Thankfully, that isn't the Bunky we are seeing! He has settled back in beautifully, and his medical checkup showed that he is in great health. Now, Bunky is an affectionate boy who just adores leaning into pets and will even roll over onto his back and purr away. This boy still loves to play, and then will lounge around or watch his surroundings through the window. He will happily meow to greet you and of course, meow at dinner time.

And somehow, this handsome guy is now 10 years old! We honestly cant believe it, because he certainly doesn't look or act his age.

He would love a nice calm environment to enjoy his "retirement years" with some play sessions followed by some nap sessions. He probably would do best in a home without young children or other cats.
