Meet Butter
Butters story began with heartbreak, but thanks to a second chance, she's discovered what it means to feel safe and loved.
At just one year old, Butter and her sister, Bread, were found abandoned in a pet carrier in a Metropark, where they had been left alone for approximately two days. A kind Good Samaritan brought them to a local veterinary clinic, where they finally received the care they desperately needed. Both girls were dehydrated and frightened. While Bread bounced back fairly quickly, Butter carried the emotional scars of the experience much longer. She was understandably cautious and unsure if she could trust people again.
With patience, love, and the security of foster care, Butter has blossomed into an incredibly affectionate companion. The timid little cat who once hid from the world now wants nothing more than to be close to her favorite people. Shell happily follow you from room to room, making sure she's never far from your side. Whether you're working, relaxing on the couch, or getting ready for the day, Butter will be your loyal little shadow.
Butter is a champion cuddler and loves curling up beside you for snuggles. Because of what she's been through, she doesn't enjoy being left alone for long periods and thrives in a home where someone is around to give her the love and reassurance she craves.
She absolutely adores kittens and has a gentle, nurturing nature with them. While she gets along with other cats, Butter would be happiest as your one and only feline or with another calm, easygoing cat who will respect her gentle personality.
Butter has already survived more than any cat should have to endure in her first year of life. Now, she's ready for the chapter she's always deserved—a forever home where shell never have to wonder if she's safe again.
