Talia - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Talia is at our Everyday Adoption Center inside of PetSmart South Gate Market (1101 S Canal St.)! Stop by anytime during open hours to meet them! We do recommend that all kittens be adopted with another kitten or cat in the home, so that they can continue socialization and learning good habits!

This sweet cat is spayed/neutered and fully healthy! They are up to date on vaccines. They are still receiving the core kitten vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization. They are also microchipped!

Talia is a super mom with lots of patience for her very active three kittens. She is a sweet, friendly cat who has raised 3 little kittens to be playful and independent youngsters with their own unique personalities. Talia is shy at first, but once she feels safe, she is friendly and welcomes being petted or scratched under the chin. She enjoys sitting on her high perch or on the bed carefully watching the action around her. She absolutely loves chasing the laser light and chasing around catnip mice and little furry balls. She is a very healthy eater who patiently shares her food with her youngsters. She is an independent young cat that will seek affection when offered, otherwise staying out of the way. She enjoys time to herself but will meow when she wants attention or to let you know it's feeding time. Talia is cool, calm, collected watching out for her three active kittens. She likes being with people and doesn't seem to mind the barking dog. Talia has a calm personality and deserves a forever home where she can be loved.

Litter Box Trained: Has excellent litter box habits

Dog-friendly - Has seen, heard, and sniffed the resident dog and wasn't afraid! We would recommend a slow introduction with a way to separate the home for each pet.

Cat-friendly - Hasn't spent time with other cats aside from her mom and siblings, but with proper introductions, it is likely they'd do great

Kid-friendly: Likely with proper introduction!
