Grader - Labrador Retriever Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Grader is at our Bucktown Adoption Center (2144 N. Wood St.) Stop by anytime during open hours to meet him!


This happy pup is neutered and healthy! He is still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization. He is also microchipped!


Housebreaking: We are still learning about this pup! Keep and eye out for more information


Leash walking: So far, so good!


Dog-friendly: Enjoys the company of other dogs and has done well with a variety of canine friends.


Cat-friendly: Not sure, This pup hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro needed if adopted into a home with a cat.


Kid-friendly: Grader has not met kids while in our care yet but we suspect this friendly boy would do well with gentle, respectful kids



Grader just arrived from our rescue partner in West Texas so we are still learning more about him. So far we know Grader is a textbook loverboy! He loves all humans, all dogs, and all snacks! Grader is very intelligent and learns quickly. He would make an amazing hiking buddy (or couch potato, truly a very versatile young man). Stay tuned for updates as we get to know him better!


OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. A $150 refundable deposit will be collected at the time of adoption, and refunded upon receipt of proof of enrollment in a positive reinforcement training program.


This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!


Grader's adoption fee is $350, and this sweet pup can't wait to meet you!
