Carino - Shepherd Dog for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Carino is at our Everyday Adoption Center inside of PetSmart South Gate Market (1101 S Canal St.)! Stop by anytime during open hours to meet them!


This sweet pup is spayed/neutered and fully healthy! They are up to date on vaccines. They are still receiving the core puppy vaccine series and will need additional vaccines after adoption to reach full immunization. They are also microchipped!


: Housebreaking - We are still learning about this pup! Keep and eye out for more information


: Leash walking - So far, so good!


: Dog-friendly: Gets along with other dogs and may enjoy having a canine companion.


: Cat-friendly - Not sure, This pup hasn't met cats with us yet! Slow intro needed if adopted into a home with a cat.


Kid-friendly: We are still learning about this pup!

Carino just arrived at One Tail! They are playful and fun, and love to learn and use their brain too! They are still learning all about the big new world around them, and would love an adopter who is ready for all the stages that puppyhood and being an adolescent brings.

OTAT requires that all dogs 6 months and under be enrolled in a positive reinforcement training program within 2 weeks of their adoption at their adopter's expense. A $150 refundable deposit will be collected at the time of adoption, and refunded upon receipt of proof of enrollment in a positive reinforcement training program.


This pet has not been DNA tested, we are unsure of their actual breed makeup, but these are the breeds we think they look like!
